Sharp's CG30U is equipped with a 3.3-megapixel sensor that captures sharp, brilliant images with a resolution of up to 2,160 by 1,440 pixels. You can change the setting to lower resolutions to save memory space on the included 16 MB SD memory card. The lens has a 3x optical and 3x digital zoom to enhance versatility and give you the necessary range of shooting options. Easily navigate through menus and preview your shots with the large 1.5-inch CGS high-resolution LCD screen. CG silicon (CGS) is a high-quality enhancement of traditional LCDs that consumes less power with more functionality, versatility, and durability. Frame guides can be superimposed on the display to help you compose the perfect shot. You can set the camera to different shooting modes such as auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual for ease of use and more creative control of your shots. There are also controls for white balance, digital effects, and a 10-second self-timer. Connect the USB port and just press the one-touch image-transfer button to upload all of your pictures to your PC, or use the video-out jack to view pictures on a TV. Also included are a wrist strap, AC adapter, four AA batteries, and lens cap.
