Comment: When our old digital camera died, my wife and I felt it was time to get back to our SLR roots. We'd gotten away from them when we went digital, but the prices have gotten much more reasonable.
We did a lot of research and decided that the Nikon D5000 was the camera for us. (It was actually a toss-up between the Nikon and the Canon EOS XSi... The Nikon won by a nose). Once we made that decision, we had to research prices / packages,etc. This package seemed ideal. The long lens is perfect for candid shots and most everything outdoors. The 18-55mm is great for indoors and for landscapes. The 16GB memory card is huge! I can't imagine filling it (though we offload to the computer daily). The extra battery is a nice touch, though we've been using the camera for over a week now on the original charge and according to the display, we still have plenty of power. The case is a perfect fit for the camera, extra lens, and accesories. Everything fits comfortably and securely.
Our son works at a large electronics retailer and gets a substantial employee discount, so we checked with him on pricing. Even with his discount, he couldn't get close to this price.
Finally, once we ordered, shipping was very quick. We're very happy with both the camera and with the service through Cameta.

Comment: Made changes to my original order after it was received. No hassel return and exchange was experianced. Have no fear dealing with these folks.
As far as the equipment, it has all worked out of the box and I am enjoying using this new camera. The kit is nice with the extra batteries and large memory card. The camera case fits in this kit along with my flash with extra room to spare.
